Ugh! At least it will get washed away with the winter rain. We have a lot to do with French folk. Once, in a city, one of the (v smart middle aged) French men was just going to pee in a sort of entry alongside M&S! I am well used to the French thinking this is normal but I said to him “hang on there are toilets in the store” His reply was he wouldn’t be long he was just peeing!!

Day6. Yes it is an offence to pee in a public place. However , yo can do a n’number 2’ as long and you do not expose yourself.confused

Isn't it an offence to urinate in public?

It certainly is offensive. I too think it's disgusting.

Yes men do have it easy. God is definitely biased.
I would have done nothing and I know its a small problem but I think its disgusting.

Jalima1108 Mon 17-Dec-18 23:10:39

What would you have done?
I'd have hung on and tried to find a public loo.

Men have it so easy.

mumofmadboys Mon 17-Dec-18 22:09:48

Ignore it. Minor problem in my view

BlueBelle Mon 17-Dec-18 22:04:41

It happens a lot around here, it`s usually East European men, apparently it`s the done thing where they come from, not very nice when it`s down our passage though.

Did he have a string of onions around his neck?
That would have been a strong clue if he was French.

M0nica Mon 17-Dec-18 20:56:57

Was he French?? Or didn't you ask. tchgrin

Grammaretto Mon 17-Dec-18 20:05:19

We live near a pub. Many's the time I've seen men peeing in my garden.
I find it revolting. What can you do?

merlotgran Mon 17-Dec-18 20:00:34

Another thread about toilet habits? hmm

EllanVannin Mon 17-Dec-18 19:51:59

I'd have just carried on, not in the least surprised by the continuing amorality of this nation.

Cherrytree59 Mon 17-Dec-18 19:43:59

You could have made a comment that he was actually peeing into someone's garden.

However, if you had startled him or made him turn round mid flow......shock

Riverwalk Mon 17-Dec-18 19:39:21

I'd have done nothing - what did you do?

Luckygirl Mon 17-Dec-18 19:33:33

Obviously no prostate problems then! grin

I do not think I would have been taken aback - many is the time when I have been caught short and wished I had a suitable organ to have a quick pee somewhere.

Reminds me of the joke about the little girl out and about and she saw a little boy pee up a tree - she looked at it thoughtfully, then said "What a very useful thing to take on a picnic!"

a continuous stream you say?

Grandmama Mon 17-Dec-18 18:39:05

This morning, about 10.15, walking along a busy road that leads into the city, I noticed ahead of me a youngish man, casually but smartly dressed leaning close up against the railings of a front garden with his back to the road and pavement. The railings are on a low wall. I sort of suspected what he was doing and I was right - he was weeing through the railings into the garden. There was a continuous stream of traffic but, unusually, no other pedestrians close at the time. He could have walked a few yards further on and gone out of sight into an alley. I walked on but was somewhat taken aback. What would you have done?
