It was easier for me as they sent me a letter last year-----albeit 3 years late but once I signed the bit at the bottom and posted it back I then got an " exemption certificate ".

I have just spent a very merry 50 mins or so trying to apply for this on line.

This site is the most user unfriendly one I have ever come across.

It leads you all round the houses when you try to get information on how to apply. When it finally allows you to get to the approach to the form you need, it asks for info such as name and licence number before it presents the form. Then you are asked to put all the details in again!

Considering its target users, 74/75 year olds, some of whom will have minimal computer skills it is a Total Disgrace!

When I have recovered I will go back to the site to try to find details of someone to complain to.
