Ideas for an on-line quiz?

My family have been holding a 'quiz' on Zoom most weekends for the past few months - great fun, either a straightforward question and answer or an 'articulate' game. There's normally around 6 - 8 groups of participants. We have decided we want to do one on Christmas day and I would like to make it special. One of my ideas is that I can send some part of the quiz along with the Xmas cards with a note not to open whatever it is until the quiz. Has anyone any ideas about what that could be?? I am struggling to think what I could send that could link into any type of quiz???

I’ve enjoyed a photo round. With subjects varied enough to be known by all ages.

Photos of household objects from unusual angles? A sheet with photos of famous people when they were children? pensionpat mentioned a picture round.

A friend of ours did a film quiz with the pictures made out of fuzzy felt. We also did a picture round of famous people's mugshots. Stills from films. Last lines in films.

We tried this with our family. Worked well.

Wonderful, thank you all for suggestions. I will definitely do the Dingbats and also try the - whatever they're called - that Sunlover put on. Charades may be a tad difficult - my 96 year old father can use a tablet but we only ever see his ear during the quiz because he cannot work out how to get in frame!!! I will also look at the practicality of doing photos from an odd angle - thanks again.

I asked a similar question and got some very helpful answers. I can’t remember them all now but if you search the forum you may find it.
One good suggestion involved IKEA furniture! I will see if I can find it.

A themed music round (eg transport in artists or titles) goes down well because it goes across the age ranges
