Managing applications and filling out forms for benefits is a minefield for many of us. I’ve put a link below to an organisation that is absolutely brilliant at helping people through the various stages and processes of applying for benefits.

This is just the sort of link that should go in the newly created "Pensions & benefits " board, you could be the first to post useful info grannyactivist smile

Hopefully this link will take people to a site that has a benefits calculator.
It isn't affiliated with the dwp or any other govt department, and you can use it to work out different scenarios before committing to them.

I have used the info from www.benefitsandwork.co.uk to help a relative with dwp claims.
To get their most detailed info, you have to pay a subscription which lasts a year.
We felt it was definitely worth the subscription.
