Hi. I hope this is the right place to put this.
I have just about finished with teaching. I have been doing a two year MSc in Building Surveying. Just about to cross the threshold as this finishes in a few weeks time. I just need a few kind people to help me with my dissertation questionnaire. It is 10 quick-fire questions based around - Victorian or Modern property - what is the nation's favourite? Any help much appreciated and sorry to ask! Link is here -

Have a good day everyone and thanks again.

I’ve just completed your survey too. Best wishes with your MSc and whatever career choice you decide upon.

Oh that's odd, I posted as well BEFORE your thank you to say I had completed it - oh well, just so you know I have and wish you well in your new career

Hi Elainel - many thanks indeed for trying. Yes, I should have said - the project is about English houses. Many thanks again

Sorry, Found it impossible to answer as I have lived in either Edwardian or 1020's homes

Nannarose Mon 06-Dec-21 11:38:48

Interesting - I have built my own house (so obviously modern!)

Trisha57 Mon 06-Dec-21 11:46:41

Done, and good luck in your new career!

Happy to help, not least if it enables you to get out of teaching!

Many thanks again all

Good luck with your survey. There aren’t a whole lot of Victorian houses here in Australia so not really relevant for us. Our house is regarded as ‘old’ here because it was built in the early 1980s!

Curlywhirly Tue 07-Dec-21 08:34:32

Done.

Germanshepherdsmum Tue 07-Dec-21 10:08:08

Done. It was a shame that views on other period homes weren’t needed, eg Georgian, but I expect there’s a good reason. Good luck!

Hi - you make a great point. Unfortunately, I had to try and keep the parameters as tight as possible on this potentially huge project! I really appreciate the time you have all taken to help me. Many thanks again.

Wowsers! Congratulations! As a budding Building Surveyor, that is something that I would take great pride in if I ever managed to oversee something like that. Well done! Thanks for your time with the survey too. Best wishes.
