If The Wonderful Man hadn't laid a prior claim to my affections mysterman I should certainly consider your offer. thanks ('Twas the cupcakes that did it.)

I thought valentie's were secret thats why the name change.
I am an active member of Gransnet and have been for some time
under another name
Which I shall revert to

mysteryman (or dare I say woman?) well done. Lovely kind gesture for two ladies who now have received Valentine's Day greetings for the first time. thanks

Sad but true:

I remember a Valentines Day, long before
A dozen red carnations delivered to my door.
The must have been diverted 'real quick'
Cos as your Valentine I wasn't first pick!
Sharing a romantic Valentine meal
You confessed all, told me the deal.
Subtlety was never your special game,
You even disclosed the lady's name!
Asked my help to win your prize.
Looked at me with soulful eyes.
So the only Valentine I ever got-
Was it meant for me? NO IT WAS NOT!

It must have worked as they DID get married about five years later!!!
