Under eye cream

Vaseline?

I have got a very dry patch which has just appeared on my left eye lid close to the inside corner of my eye and I am not sure what to put on it, any ideas?

I blame the media!

I have just bought a larger pair of glasses, that covers up all the imperfections. I don't really think under eye creams really work, why I keep buying them or rather looking for a true miracle cream, I don't know. I never used to buy all this damn creams, now I read every article about the ten best skin creams etc. and frequently buy them as well. My daughter bought me some face cream that hides all the tiny lines on your face. Well it doesn't but I still put it on. I also find that I stare at every womans face I come across to look at their wrinkles. This is all very worrying!!!

Quite like the idea of a cream that takes 6 months off.................does it also take me back the the weight I was then?

Another solution is the CACI eye treatment. CACI is known as the 'non-surgical facelift' but you can have the eye treatment without the full face if you want to. It costs about £25 per treatment, and most salons will suggest a course of 6 to 10 over a few weeks before you settle in to one treatment every couple of months or so.
I used to have regular CACI treatments back when I had a decent income, and would jump at the chance to have them regularly again.

I use the under-eye cream from the sensitive range from Yves Rocher. Very good value and lasts for ages- and use the 'twin' face care cream - very good for skins that tend to redden.

Years ago someone told me that haemorrhoid (excuse spelling) cream was good for under eye bags. So far I haven't been desperate enough to try it

Roc undereye cream is very good. Makes you look a good 6 months younger!!! Actually it is good.

I must give it a go then - I've tried a lot of under eye creams and lotions with varying degrees of success.

I think it does Anagram but, even if it doesn't, I feel better having done it!!

But does it work kitty? That's the main thing!

I use Clinique under eye cream, which usually comes in their offer pack if you buy two products when the promotion is on.

Just remembered to say good sunglasses all the time and don't sunbathe your face. They are probably not as bad as you think. We tend to view ourselves with harsh lighting and a very close mirror - thats not how other people see us. Beauty salon usually do a nice ye treatment which you might like as an occasional treat - it helps drian away the excessive fluid in the tissues - its temporary of course but a lovely lie down.

lol Susiecb, oh yes a good nights sleep has always worked wonders but I am aware that my skin has changed again recently, its as if now that I am Menopause +10 any last remaining bit of bounce is going and although I'm not that vain I can actually see quite a different to even this time last year. Hey ho!

Liz Earle is always reliable, non chemical or tested on animals and seems to suit most people. Having said that I have tried them all and gone back to vaseline around eye area at night seems to stop we waking up with dry eyes (externally). the most important thin is too remove any eye make up at bedtime with a good but gently cleanser. I think the old fashioned two slices of cucumber and a nap is still a good one.
