Hi, can any of you lovely ladies tell me of a good comfortable minimiser bra. Thank you in advance

In my experience the words 'bra' and 'comfortable' do not go together, P1234!

The best fitting bra I ever had I bought some years ago on a trip to Rigby and Peller - it was £68 then so I have never been back but I will one day as it was wonderful.

Figleaves (on internet)) minimiser bra’s.
Not as expensive as Rigby & Peller but in the £30/40/50 price ranges dependent on style.

Miss Mary of Sweden.

Thanks, will look at them all

Sometimes/often Puzzler you are just the Biz ! ?

I've usually gone for M&S minimiser bras and prefer to use my own judgement about fit. Recently I've been intrigued by the Miss Mary of Sweden bras - they look the business.

Grandmafrench I admire you so much, I aspire to be as kind and helpful as you always are to all our Gran friends. (Hug) ?

Aww Puzzler (We non-snipers have to stick together!) I know you think you can get around me, BUT I have waited patiently with my feet in the water here and.....nuffink! Not a promised macaron, not a Bellini....so you’ve just managed to save the day by showing me a lovely selection of bras which I’ve been looking for, for so long. Thanks for that - seriously. I’m sooooo pleased. ?

Puzzler61 Tue 07-Jul-20 19:23:24

I’m so sorry that the Bellini’s and Macarons are just a figment of my imagination Grandmafrench.
Unfortunately the only water my feet have stood in today are rain puddles this afternoon in Worcs. ?

I’m glad you’re going to delve into some retail therapy ?

Ahem, some of us have to seek out maximiser bras blush

Asda do a "one size bigger" one that I favour.

Problem is, I take my bra off and my bosoms go with it!confused

phoenix Tue 07-Jul-20 20:19:35

Sorry, that wasn't very helpful blush

I envy you phoenix because I am an uncomfortable 34DD and at 5ft1in feel disproportionate.

The “Miss Mary” bras look so comfortable. I usually get Berlei non wired which are ok but the straps cut in supporting the ample bosom.

I googled Miss Mary of Sweden hoping not to get an undesirable site ? which can happen on occasion!

I am tempted to order but has anyone experience of buying from this company, have you dealt with them Poppyred? Obviously they are Swedish but I couldn’t see a U.K. contact no. and am wary of sites which I haven’t used before?

Thank you so much for the info.

Are you anywhere near Desborough, Northamptonshire?
There is a brilliant outlet shop at the Wacoal lingerie factory selling Freya, Rigby and Peller, Wacoal etc at a fraction of usual prices. Includes a measuring and fitting service.

I like Fantasy for bras and I buy them from Figleaves as they are usually a bit cheaper than buying them on the high street.

Thank you for all your advice,
I now have some choices. Phoenix, I am so envious of you
