Hi janthea - if you click on 'I'm on' at the top of any thread, you'll be able to see the threads that you've contributed to.
Does that help?

This may exist already, but is there somewhere on the site where you can see all your previous postings. it would be useful to know whether I've contributed to a thread or not.
