Ian, thanks for your query and for being polite enough to ask! We've emailed directly to explain the position - which is basically that we don't allow people to advertise for free on our discussion boards, even if their product is free - which we appreciate may seem tough, but it's just not the right place. Happy to talk to you about other things, though.

Hi all

Just asking for posting advice as I'm not sure if this counts as promoting a product or not, we've released a free app intended to hopefully be of use to people with some age related conditions. Is this an appropriate place to talk about it?
