Is there an easier way to do this than how we were faffing around with the leprechauns? Don't worry your head about it. Just asking!

No, I haven't drunk anything alcoholic today. It must be leprechaun tea!

I think I mean cumulative, don't I?

Don't sweat it Baggy; there's a great overlap in meaning.

cumulative: increasing by successive addition

accumulative: to gradually increase in number or amount

Really enjoyed the Leprechaun Tree: used to do this kind of thing in storytelling workshops. thanks
