Incredinet

i found it was quite an unsafe site in terms of attracting viruses

Think I've sorted it now. I had already uninstalled the programme, but it was still on the computer somewhere. Apparently it leaves 'little gifts' all over the place. Finally I clicked on 'computer' and did an advanced search including 'hidden programmes' and it found 12 Incredimails. I deleted them, then emptied the trash bin. Finally I changed the home page back to what it was originally, and things seem ok at the moment! Thanks for your suggestions.

Sorry Elegran. Yes it is Incredimail. Have looked on google but so far everything I have tried has failed.

supermum48 Do you mean Incredimail? Googling that gives a lot of hits of people wanting to know how to remove it (presumably some of them get answers!) but I could see nothing about removing Incredinet.

I have never heard of it, so can't help.
