Trip to Stratford upon Avon

We're off to Stratford upon Avon at the end of August can you recommend places we should visit, places to eat (not too expensive we're on a budget!) We'll do the obvious Shakespeare bit but what else can we do? Thanks

Went to Warwick Castle - you can get a 2 for 1 voucher to get in or use Tesco points!

A great day out particularly if you have an interest in history, and you really can spend all day there!.

Don't know if the theatre still do it ...but could get standing tickets to watch a performance on that day ...not sure if they have any 'Shakespeare' on at the moment ...might be worth checking on-line before you go. Also ...the town is bound to have a tourist web-site ...try that before you go ...may be able to get some deals on-line ...have fun ...it is a lovely area.

Thanks for your ideas...we were due to go on the 21st Aug but OH pulled a muscle in his back and couldn't move...so we couldn't go.sad Hopefully we'll be able to go next year.
