Loved it. Quite brutal in parts but I suppose that's what it was like back then. I also enjoyed The Last Kingdom. Enjoy.

I liked The Last Kingdom when it was on tv. So many things I want to watch are on Sky or Netflix or Amazon these days. I was surprised to find that I could get Britannia on dvd.

I liked the last kingdom too and was upset when it disappeared from BBC. I don’t have Netflix but have seen you can buy the dvd on Amazon seasons 1 to 4.

I loved this series too. Yes it is can be brutal, it can also be darkly funny - if you have a twisted sense of humour like me.

I'd recommend it.

The trailer that I saw for series three looked funny. I like Zoe Wanamaker. I’m ok with violence after watching GOT’s, Vikings and Outlander!

The trailer made me think of a film I saw late one night called Gladiatress starring Sally Phillips. Pre catchup I tried to buy it on dvd but it was really expensive. It had terrible reviews but I loved it!

Just to say, I’ve just finished watching series 1 ( had to rewatch it as I always get mixed up plot wise but that was ok cause I happily watched it again) and I absolutely love it! Now about to start on season 2 but frustrated that I won’t be able to watch season 3 for ages.

About to start on series 3 which is on dvd. Very mixed reviews but I’m still loving it. Lent it to DD to watch and she’s hooked too.
