to expect colour fastness.
Having sought for jeans that fit around the waist whilst being wide enough to get over my bum, I finally thought I'd found the answer.

I washed them to see if they would shrink before I shortened them, the didn't, by the way, so I took a little bit off the legs and wore them yesterday.
They do fit wonderfully and, being stretchy, so easy to wear BUT by the end of the evening my hands were blue and so were my knickers. Fortunately I was sitting in a blue armchair so I don't know if I left a blue bumprint behind (no pun intended). Just as well I was not sitting on my daughter's cream coloured sofa.
I shall be writing to Marisota to complain - be interesting to see what they say.
So this is just a warning to all of you not to expect colour fastness from your new blue jeans.
