Hi all, I'd like to give money to help with East Africa. are there any Oxfam regular givers out there who have an opinion on whether Oxfam is the right charity?

I tend to agree with jangly. (Is that a first? 
) I think it helps to keep admin costs down and can channel funds to where they can best be used – which may turn out to be Oxfam or some other NGO. You can do it on a credit or debit card.
