AIBU to think it would be nice if people who have asked for advice about, say, a suitable gift for a birthday, could finish the thread by telling us what they decided, and the reaction of the recipient?

I remember having some feedback by a few OPs about presents. It can take a few days or weeks, depending on how far away the birthday is, so I'm sure we'll get to hear before long Hunt.
