in a sense, the wedding day of christinc hunt and rob landis represented life coming full circle for the pair, who met five years prior at the nuptials for rob's brother and christine's best friend.

Why Grannyknot ?

whenim64 Wed 09-Jan-13 09:19:05

It's an advert nonu smile

Nonu Wed 09-Jan-13 09:21:45

Not being dim I hope but what for ?

shysal Wed 09-Jan-13 10:02:37

Google the couple's names nonu. This type of post and new user name are always suspicious.

Mishap Wed 09-Jan-13 10:08:56

Pretty obscure advert as I have no idea what it is for - nor any desire to know!!

Ariadne Wed 09-Jan-13 10:09:20

How odd! I did Google it.

gillybob Wed 09-Jan-13 10:26:12

Call me stupid............. all together now STUPID but I really can't see how this is an advert.

kittylester Wed 09-Jan-13 10:28:39

Tell us, shysal

Nonu Wed 09-Jan-13 10:29:22

Googled , could not make nor tail of it . grin

On the subject of adverts. The other night I happened on the advert with a young girl advertising Sun newspaper.
it is done in a sort of "rap" which i found quite difficult to understand anyway .
However , I am not sure , but I think she says s--t January weather.

well I am sorry, but I believe that is inappropriate and not appealing in any way.

Perhaps I misheard, don"t know.

Perhaps it is just me, don"t know.

Hey ho shock

Nelliemoser Wed 09-Jan-13 10:33:30

???? What the heck is this post about??confused

Grannyknot Wed 09-Jan-13 10:38:27

GN HQ also queried me reporting this. To me it reads like spam! I monitor comments on our blog for work, so I think I have a bit of a sixth sense for spam - sometimes it is 'disguised' to look/seem like something that makes sense. Anyway, whatever smile!

Ana Wed 09-Jan-13 10:42:00

Well, there's no link, so I can't see a problem...not many Gransnetters will be at all interested in the two people mentioned.

whenim64 Wed 09-Jan-13 10:48:49

It IS spam, intended to lead you to a bespoke wedding company. Advertising.

Anne58 Wed 09-Jan-13 10:54:09

Subtle, but spam all the same.

Don't think much of their marketing strategy though, hardly think that we are a good target!

j06 Wed 09-Jan-13 10:57:28

Of course it's a flippin' advert. Google the names. Clever.

Wake up HQ! hmm

Nelliemoser Wed 09-Jan-13 10:58:59

I am I supposed to know the names?? Not being into celeb culture it means now't to me.
Could it be part of a cryptic crossword clue? grin

We need Bletchley Park onto it PDQ.

Flipping Gransnet! I haven't got a thing done this morning.

soop Wed 09-Jan-13 11:11:16

Welcome jings...glad you found your way back. smile

Ana Wed 09-Jan-13 11:13:35

Well, the issue is April 16th 2011 - hardly up to date! No wonder we'd never heard of those two, they probably aren't newsworthy any more. confused

(Welcome back jingl smile)
