Horrid thing to happen Marelli - do encourage your daughter to make use of the victim support people. One of my daughters was attacked at knife point a few years ago (he cut her face, but fortunately the scar has healed well and follows the line of he chin). Can I add my shock and horror at this dreadful experience and my heartfelt sympathy to your daughter, her friend and yourself. I can only imagine the gamut of emotions you must be feeling - murderous doesn't come into it I suspect.
