Have just been reading about this on another forum. Word has it that a lot of MPs and their cohorts are financially involved with these companies.
My opinion is that the companies are too big for the government to tackle.
They have a tiger by the tail.

Network rail was re-nationalised because they were in such a mess - that what you mean absent. They have just built a magnificent new headquarters here - enormous - with 2 multi stories, gym etc etc and I hope that it will be better value for us than offices in Euston
