Him next door

You've all heard of the man next door to me. Well, today takes the biscuit. His wife had an operation on her R hand, as a day case yesterday.
When she rang him to say she was ready to be collected, he told her she was supposed to be coming home the next day!
When she came home and asked him to help with cats litter tray, he told her that he didn't do 'that sort of thing' and that he was resting as he had been told to slow down!
He is now insisting that her op was only minor compared with his, as he'd had to stay in overnight and was she sure the surgeon had done the right op?
I might add. She'd put all the dates and times in writing for him.
I really think he's losing the plot.

Suitable answer from her to him, "Well, if is not such a big operation as yours, perhaps I will have recovered from it in (fill in X weeks) and you will only have to look after me for that long, instead of the (fill in Y weeks) that I have been looking after you. Bear in mind that if I get an infection in it from emptying the cat litter tray before it is properly healed, you will be waiting on me hand and foot for (fill in Z weeks)"

Perhaps she should leave the litter tray beside his plate at mealtimes until he decides that he does do emptying it.

That is unbelievable Galen, I knew he was bad but . . . . . Perhaps a well aimed walking stick to help him trip up?

Arsehole! No, actually that's not fair, at least an arsehole does fulfil a useful purpose. Perhaps he's a pile or a polyp?

Years ago had a friend who was thinking of going back to work. Mentioned it to her husband who looked at her in horror and said 'Who will look after me when I am ill?', which he rarely was.
