To feel paranoid

I Have been here at the hospice for the last couple of weeks with DH who is now very ill. Two days ago I went out for a ten minute walk, slipped on a conker and fractured my pelvis. I can't decide if I'm living in the middle of a tragedy or a farce. I am now hobbling about on a Zimmer frame and can't drive for 6 weeks.

How can life chuck so much at you sewsilver, you must be asking yourself that I'm sure. What an absolutely impossible situation for you and your DH. All I can send is my hope that you can get mobile soon - do you have friends or family nearby who can visit you and your DH to try and keep your spirits up?

Every sympathy to you and your DH - however, you must concentrate on yourself at the moment, however much you feel your DH needs you. I do hope the family are able to share the emotional as well as the practical burden with you and maybe organise a wheelchair when you are able to visit him? Could his Macmillan nurse help at all?
I cannot think of a worse situation to be in and am sending you a hug, a prayer for you BOTH and just my very best wishes flowers

Just wondering how things are going Sewsilver?? Have been thinking of you and hoping that you are in less pain and maybe out of hospital?
