I often take GS (age 7 n a bit yrs) swimming,we are lucky enough to have family unisex changing rooms so no prob as GS always in earshot in next cubicle or wait till GS has changed then I go in. But at another older old fashioned baths the ladies changing room is at one side of the pool and the mens right at the opposite side across the pool (no family changing rooms and no curtains up in the mens, but curtains in the ladies, at what age would you let GS/GD go in changing room on their own, bearing in mind some are well away from earshot and not being able to keep an eye on them at the same time! also same when going into public toilets etc, I don't let GS go into mens toilets but he is getting conscious of going in the ladies, although I do try to make him hang on until there are no ladies present.
