Once you get hooked on "alternative" drama, the local UK ones just don't cut it! <dons safety helmet> grin

Thanks for the suggestions, I shall be telling husband about the Outlaws.

And talking about drama (but this is factual) - we watched a documentary on Discovery called Killer Whales: Mega Hunt. It is filmed in False Bay off the Southern tip of Africa. Orcas are so, so clever, cunning and terrifyingly efficient hunters. The doccie is about a new phenomenon in that area of large dolphin pods (500+) being hunted by orcas. Footage of orcas in a full breach out of the water and then diving vertically into the pod. It's awesome.

Is anybody watching the Belgian serial where the four sisters are trying to murder their awful BIL? It's called the Outlaws. It's on Friday evenings on More 4. It is very funny.

Apparently a new Hinterland (Welsh Noir) in the offing!

I record a series and then watch , hate the waiting a week for next episode

There's nothing I like better than a naughty afternoon catching up on various dramas. I record them and watch several episodes at a time. A single measly episode at a time is not enough for me!

Missing them too, though have to admit I love watching the box sets - except they seem to go too quickly.

What about the odd scandic film? I bought dvd's and loved 'The Time of the Lynx' wit has Sofia Grobbel (sp? )of The Killing. Excellent.
Going to watch 'After the Wedding' soon...

I love scandic productions as there is more depth, mood and less meaningless dialogue, frantic action for the sake of it

Yes Spiral, caught up with all of those through my dvd rental club, it was interesting seeing the team age gradually from the series' inception in 2005 to the most recent one. Looking forward to the latest of that and The Bridge.

Oh I'd forgotten the French - Disappeared and Spiral. It isn't the same with a box set. No anticipation!

Yes missing them too, not just Scandi, I loved the recent French one "The Disappeared. They'll be back when the weather gets colder, something to look forward to on those dark, chilly nights smile

Oh I know you can get them in box sets and on-line but for some silly reason I like a weekly fix of something. The Good Wife has gone and the Beeb cancelled Beck for the Olympics. I miss having a weekly serial/series to catch my interest (even if I sometimes record it cos I'm out) anyone else in the same boat? And does it come from a childhood of Dick Barton?
