Spelling/autocorrect errors (on a forum) on the whole, don't bother me. I do get slightly irritated by a post immediately following it, correcting it. Unless it changes the meaning of the sentence, then it's usually obvious what the poster meant.

I get randon 'b',v' and 'n' on the ipad when I'm in a rush, hit those instead of the space bar at the bottom. Interestingly rarely 'm', wonder why? Oh dear, I know what happens when I rush but I still do it. Hopeless case.

That's true, Ana. The shiny new GCSE English syllabus wouldn't put up with that!

Long posts not split into paragraphs put me off. So much easier to read in smaller chunks!

My only serious concern is on the relatively rare occasion when a post is so badly put together that I really can't understand it.

Maw, my phone inserts 'v' and I think it's fat finger syndrome (sorry) as those letters are just above the space bar.

What makes me smile is when a poster 'chastises' another for not using the correct spelling or punctuation then go on and do the exact same. Idiots.

The biggest problem is the obvious case of a poster 'trying to look clever' but nobody is fooled as to their intent which is 'usually' to try and belittle a poster that has not agreed with them.

aggie I have to stop and think with its and it's, so if I am in a hurry I try to avoid them both.

The logic behind them is that it's is a shortened form of it is (like I'm and he's and we're and they're) and its is possession, but it doesn't need the apostrophe because it already has the possessiveness built-in (like my, his, her, our, your, their)

If in your mind you can bracket it's with I'm and he's, and bracket its with my and your, it may be easier. (but it's yet another thing to remember when you are busy typing!)

The other punctuation that catches me out is the colon : and the semicolon : so I avoid them too, if I can.

I couldn't care less, I do care about people being ridiculed by pointing out their grammatical and or spelling errors

My pet hate is using the word draw for the place you keep things in , and I am no use with apostrophe use

Typos and auto-corrects are usually obvious and don't bother me, neither do the kind of things that dyslexia produces. Using a spot of common sense makes the meaning clear.
What does make me itch to correct a post is the use of a word which is slightly similar to the right one but gives a completely different meaning to what the poster intended. Sometimes it seems that the poster is not aware that there are two words to become confused over, so I wonder whether they themselves are taking the wrong meaning out of other posts. That could lead to a lot of misunderstanding.

I once corrected another poster (on another forum) , I was new to forums and was unprepared for the flying vitriol , had to leave and am now super sensitive to typos ................ but only other peoples

It's not so much fun though!
