Having just battled weekly supermarket shop, is it too much to ask that said establishments could have separate entrances and exits? It's definitely challenging getting in when someone is mighty relieved they have finished their shop, and is intent on getting out quickly, and who can blame them, bearing down on, or through you with hugely laden trolleys! or is it just me?hmm

The ones we use in France do have different entrances/exits. One of them- a big supermarket - has all the tills opening into the mall - Carrefour is the same at the Cité d'Europe - and the other is a shop on its own and has the entrance to the side of the tills.
No. - you are being quite reasonable as the entrances of UK supermarkets are a bit small anyway.

Aldi have entrances and exits. Wonderful food too!

My local Sainsburys has a separate entrance and exit so I can't complain!

the entrances of UK supermarkets are a bit small confused
Doesn't that depend on their location, as in every other country?

Maggiemaybe Wed 30-Aug-17 08:51:32

Anyway, OP, I'm surprised by your post, as rumour has it you love shopping. smile

Here it's only Tesco that has one entrance/exit. It used to have separate ones but they closed the exit some years ago - I believe it was to help stop shoplifting.

Hahaha Maggiemaybe I absolutely do love shopping, it's getting in the place first that's the problem grin
