AIBU to think this is totally unnecessary?

I think there is too much flesh everywhere, some of it not at all pleasant, why would you want to be far too close to a semi-naked man bent over the freezer cabinet choosing his burgers, with his butt on show as he’s into the trend of wearing his pants at low mast! This happened to me yesterday in Sainsbury, put me off my lunch, the image is burned into my retinas, hopefully not for ever☹️

Anyway it's so unpractical - and dangerous for fair skin not used to the sun.
Arabs who cover up in the hot sun have more sense.

Many shops have signs stating "tops must be worn" and so they should IMO. I don't care if they have a six pack or a beer belly I don't want to see it !
H likes to walk along the prom with his shirt off if it's very hot but puts it on as soon as he is in the street.

We never allow men to take their tops off on the golf course but we still get a few - I love coming all over Vice Captain and telling them off!!!

I agree, tops off only in the privacy of your garden or on the beach.

well I am pleased to hear it is not just me. Honestly his shorts were so low they were barely covering the necessaries. It was very uncomfortable and really not for public consumption on a busy high street

Sadly, I find that the majority of those that expose their flesh in the sun are the very ones who should be covering up. Not much in the way of Poldark bodies, but an awful lot of flabby ones. And as for armpit hair, glistening with sweat, in a food shop........bleurgh.

I have just had 2 Biopsies on my nose. Consultant is almost certain it is cancer so I shall have further surgery. So at the momens, when I see people expose themselves I want to shout at them "the sun is not your friend"

Me, too especially if they are sweaty and misplaced the deodorant!!!! Nothing more off putting than a humming half naked person in the queue at the bank! Or maybe there is??? I was in a local cafe and the man sat directly across from me was sat sideways. He had a pair of shorts on and had crossed his leg (as men do with the heel of one leg resting on the knee of the other)........he obviously had no underpants on for the rest of him was dangling out of the shorts!!! Obviously very proud of his tackle then? I couldn't stop looking ha ha oh but....he did have a top on bahahaha

Just before anyone says it was deliberate - he looked a nice ordinary family man who was there with his wife and children but they were on the other side of the table

Shows a lack of consideration for others, good for the diet though to see rolls of flesh wobbling around

Another one here, who could sign off "disgusted of the north west". I know our poor northern bodies are starved of the sun but why do so many people wear hardly anything as soon as the sun comes out?
We saw a gruesome site in a Med resort recently, a family of 5 of various ages, walking down the high street wearing very skimpy and ugly swim wear, all the exposed flesh littered with equally ugly tattoos. Yes, they were Brits, what other nation would walk about looking like that? it was 10am and of course, they were all drinking bottles of alcohol, well not the 4 year old, but the rest of them were

I think it’s gross when men walk around without a top in public . No need for it . And usually those with the least “fit” bodies are the first to show theirs off ! Yuk .
