I think this is common! They gave me an appointment once for 10.10 (or so I thought). She said she had said 10 to 10. The GP saw me but was not best pleased. I went on Friday and a man booked in for his appointment and she said 'Mr Smith, your appointment is for Monday not today'.

Its something in the air,I was convinced Mothers Day was tomorrow so last night I ordered a gift to be delivered direct to MIL as her proper present is sitting upstairs where I left it last week when she was leaving to go home.She got the delivery today and called to check why I's sent her a gift .When I told her we wouldn't make it over tomorrow with her real present she told me Mothers Day is next week.As I said on another thread,sometimes if I had a brain I'd be dangerous..or as my OH tells me I'm on a brain share scheme and its someone elses turn to use it Keep a place for em in your van can I book a front seat I get sick in the back ?

Not doctors but my DD has quite a poor memory. She turned up at her sister in law's door with champagne, flowers and balloons reading Happy 40th. The sister in law answered the door and said 'thanks but I'm 38'. Oops

I was speaking to a BT engineer I've never met in my life and at the end of the call said cheerily, 'Bye then. Love you.' Totally forgot who I was speaking to, but probably because I end a lot of calls that way. I can just imagine the look on his face!
