Well, my Dear Hubby got together with an old classmate and cooked and cleaned over 50 crab for his class re-union get together. They spent a few hours at his classmates industrial shop having a few brews and getting caught up while working.

There were over 100 people that were at the event, which ran over Friday Saturday and Sunday. The crab was a great hit, as messy as it was to eat. Some of those that came from out of town just never get the chance to have fresh crab. and were very appreciative.

He was... I posted in AIBU last Thursday about him being voluntold (love that term!) to cook and clean crab on short notice for a class reunion. I was ticked off about it, but it turned out fine and he and his classmate were thanked for their efforts.

Yes, I did read that thread. I was wondering how it came to be that he was the one who was Voluntold

Summer, He was volunteered by one of the organizers who is a friend and knows he has a large pot crab cooker. It all went well after all.

What a fun weekend it was. So many old friends to see. I didn't go to school in this town, but we have been married since we were 21 and 22, so I know most of DH's classmates and acquaintances.

I'm glad it went well, that was quite an undertaking.

Well done to your DH!
