Well I must admit when I woke up I didn’t realise we were in March, No nothing wrong with my memory, just couldn’t believe the days have gone so quick, Today is the day I start to de clutter , yes I know I’ve said it before and I’ve done a few bits, but dotted here and there fleeting from one room to another, but today is the day, ?Anyone else.....

The first day of meteorological spring, and all I'm doing is soaking up the sun! There is a to-do list somewhere ..........

There is a to-do list somewhere ..........

It'll be with mine Taichinan, safely stored somewhere under all the stuff on said To Do List! wink

What's a 'to dol ist'? grin
Soak up the sun (vt D) while you can. Who knows how long it will last?

The equinox is on 20th March, then British Summer Time begins 28th March. Lighter evenings, hooray!

I woke up early and went for a walk in the cold, damp fog. No Spring-in here!

Good Afternoon ladies ☺️ I find spring the most magical time of year ?It is like mother nature waking up from her long winter sleep! And more so now in these challenging times, to which we are all going through ? I don't know if any one else feels the same, but to see how spring can make people feel good & losing yourself in this wonder?☀️ And forgetting what is going on......even if it means for a short time ?Be Safe everyone ?

Very bright and sunny here but cold. I went for a march around as I promised myself to attack the lockdown lard now that the 29th March is in view and golf will/may begin. Hedgerow buds popping out everywhere, a lovely ornamental cherry tree in flower, daffodils blooming and birds singing everywhere. Should be great shouldn't it? Still bloody fed up with being incarcerated and having nothing to do. Housework and and tidying all done everyday, gardening all done as far as we can do at the moment - bored!!! Bet someone on here tells me off.

DH has just had an appointment for his second vaccine this week. That cheered us up. Looked at the calendar and saw that it was 1st March. That cheered us up too. Glad that February is over. Buds on the trees starting to appear, a few daffs in the garden and the birds are singing.

Spring has arrived - and we have dates for the end of this awful lockdown - so be a bit cheerful everyone. thanks

Walking in the sunshine is so much better than when it's damp, grey and windy.

Only problem is people heading off to beaches as they did on Saturday to Formby. Police turned back many from Leeds and Manchester.

It`s been freezing here in Staffordshire,no sunshine at all.
But loads of beautifull daffs.snowdrops and crocus out.

I always think of 1st March as being the first day of spring, and today (here in NW England) certainly bore that out. Glorious sunshine and little wind. I feel very lucky to have a garden.
