I don't kniw fir sure which thread was removed but apparently on R4 this morning was a very lively debate on transissues.
(Being GC is not a polite term for transphobic)

GN has to be extremely careful as MN is being constantly monitored for so called 'transphobia'.

I believe it was the thread I started re Wayne Couzens, deleted for too much speculation! What is too much speculation? I see plenty of speculation everywhere on GN. If you deleted them all there wouldn’t be much left on here apart from games. So do we add to the rules “No Speculation “?

I agree with 25Avalon. Speculation does actually suggest some kind of thought process and if you take that away from posters you are left with just niceties like recipes and games.

Another thread has gone and that’s the one about the American granny who ‘popped’ her grandson for not sitting properly on his chair I can’t remember the title now but that’s been deleted too

this forum ie GN and anyone who posts on it, are just as subject to the law as anyone else.
GN cannot ignore the law.
nor should they allow any posters to do so.

I once had a photo removed from Facebook of a cute little cat sitting under a Christmas tree, part of my yearly holiday advent Calendar I do each year to countdown to the 25th. The reason given for deletion - it might encourage suicide!

I didnt see the thread but if his speculation on an upcoming court case then of course they should delete if it would impact on a prosecution.

As a site GN is very troll heavy at the moment, some deletion might be a good thing.

I had a thread removed for criticizing Stonewall.
