Just been announced that PC has been diagnosed with Coronavirus,
AIBU to hope he will receive some empathy from the general public.

Watch this space.

Gaunt47 Wed 25-Mar-20 10:55:43

Well I for one wish him well, as I would for anyone struck by this horrible virus.

Hetty58 Wed 25-Mar-20 10:58:27

He isn't feeling ill!

Juliet27 Wed 25-Mar-20 10:59:32

Agreed Gaunt47

Bridgeit. No you are AIBU.
Gaunt 47 I too wish him well.

Nightsky2 Wed 25-Mar-20 11:07:42

are not

GrannyGravy13 Wed 25-Mar-20 11:08:49

I wish him a full recovery.

Bathsheba Wed 25-Mar-20 11:10:47

This virus doesn't care who it targets. Privilege is no protection. I do hope he recovers.

Whitewavemark2 Wed 25-Mar-20 11:11:51

I wonder how he is coping with total isolation?

maddyone Wed 25-Mar-20 11:13:15

Me too GrannyGravy, as I wish for everyone who catches this horrible disease. If Prince Charles recovers from this, which he hopefully will, I think the recovery of a high profile over 70 will be encouraging for the rest of us. We hear so much frightening news about those who have sadly died.

henetha Wed 25-Mar-20 11:13:51

All decent people would wish him well, just like we wish anyone who has this virus well.

maddyone Wed 25-Mar-20 11:15:29

Whitewave it’s probably a welcome relief from his usual schedule. Mind you, he’s supposedly working from home, so doing the red boxes I assume.

Anniebach Wed 25-Mar-20 11:17:13

Charles likes isolation

paddyanne Wed 25-Mar-20 11:23:14

Dont worry about Charlie he's fine ...ignored the stay at home rule and moved his household to Scotland ...but according to news ..its" not a huge house" though he and camilla will be able to stay apart AND ..they only have asmall staff..a few people to look after them. Another case of privilege doing it their own way.He hasn't a feckin clue about how this affects NORMAL folk.

Grannynannywanny Wed 25-Mar-20 11:25:00

I wish him well and a full and speedy recovery. However I am ever so slightly annoyed that despite only having mild symptoms Nhs Grampian felt it necessary to use scarce resources test him and also Camilla( who has no symptoms!) while there is no testing available for front line doctors and nurses. I read earlier there is currently an ICU consultant with symptoms who now has to self isolate for 14 days with his family because he can’t access a test. Even if he feels well again in a few days he will be kept away from his vital job. That’s just crazy!

EllanVannin Wed 25-Mar-20 11:25:13

Camilla won't fare too well with being a smoker, a heavy one at that. I don't wish either of them any harm though. As long as he keeps away from his parents wherever they all are----I've lost track of their comings and goings.

ignored the stay at home rule and moved his household to Scotland

Another example of people thinking that the rules don't apply to them. I expect all the other second-home owners will now feel free to decamp to Cornwall & Suffolk.

Anannymous Wed 25-Mar-20 11:34:11

I wish him a speedy recovery the same as I would anyone with any illness. Let’s hope we all come through this and emerge as better human beings.

Bridgeit Wed 25-Mar-20 11:39:27

Families have all ready have invaded South Devon, one 2nd Home owner was politely asked to leave the local pub where he was happily quaffing & Coughing!!!!!!!!

Sparklefizz Wed 25-Mar-20 11:48:40

I wish him and anyone else who has the virus a speedy recovery.

There are some horrible posts on here.

eazybee Wed 25-Mar-20 11:51:16

Yes, there are some horrible posts, as I anticipated.

Yes, I wish him well, as I do anyone with coronavirus.

vegansrock Wed 25-Mar-20 11:52:02

Wish them well. Lucky he and Camilla can each have a separate wing of their home.

GrannyLaine Wed 25-Mar-20 11:52:17

EllanVannin Camilla stopped smoking many years ago. Not that its any of our business

Hetty58 Wed 25-Mar-20 11:52:53

How come HE got a test?
