No I don't feel sorry for him. His job was to protect Raab - losing his gun, never mind on a plane, shows a total lack of professionalism.

I don’t feel sorry for him either. If, as reported, the gun was in a holster, surely as he got off the plane he must have known that something was missing about his person.

We can all be absent minded at times, but surely it is a prerequisite of the job that a bodyguard must be absolutely certain of every detail.

I must admit, reluctantly, that most things connected with this government have been a disaster. My problem is going to be where I cast my vote in the next election. Frankly there is no party or person that fills me with confidence.

It’s not about it being one of his strengths, if it’s true it’s about why he was supposed to be doing anything other than guarding DR. You can’t be on high alert surely on landing and disembarking and checking you've got all passports?

This has nothing to do with the government, it was a mistake by Raab’s armed bodyguard....but why miss a chance to have a pop ...even at the wrong person.
