People who take 10 minutes explaining things that could be said in 10 seconds! ??

Chewing gum and especially when people talk with it in. It smells vile and makes a terrible mess of the pavements.

If I can have another one its masks discarded as litter - disgusting , insanitary habit.

One of mine is around interviewers on TV nanna8 when they ask really stupid questions like - how do you feel now your wife/husband has died. Grrrr

People who say "Haitch" when spelling out a word!!
It is "Aitch" and it makes me cringe when I hear it said incorrectly.

I can't watch 'Lingo' for that reason.

I think the presenter and the contestants are told to do it.

When I read the title, I was going to comment on my dislike of one SIL’s pet rats!
Instead, I’m with *BigBertha1 on chewing gum and I’ll add clothes that change their sizing, but keep the same labels!

I don't think 'hate' can be consistent with being 'nice'.

I am watching Bake Off at the moment and a pet hate is when there is any sort of competitive programme on TV it is always edited to seem as though they only finish in the last second.

Also , TV again, the ridiculous wait between announcing "the winner is" and the actual name. Then someone often says "we are all winners" , no you are not one person has won.

Moronic adverts featuring cartoon people, meerkats, singing and dancing, talking household items.

People on TV, including news readers, who can't say 'sixth', which is most of them. Most say 'sick'.

People who talk incessantly about their health.

Admiration of celebrities, many of whom can hardly speak properly and are, to put it politely, not very bright.

I can’t stand Michael Parkinson! Went right off him years ago when he was interviewing a very young Charlotte Church and asking her (to me) inappropriate questions. It gave me the unsavoury creeps which have never gone away.

And later, when he’s been advertising in that oh-so-cosy voice, funeral or other savings plans aimed at people with not much or very little money. And presumably being paid handsomely for it.

Re the original question, radio and TV presenters who I’m sure wouldn’t usually or habitually do it, endlessly dropping their Ts.

I swear they are instructed by the Beeb to do it, in order to sound un-posh, ‘relevant’ or ‘edgy’ or whatever they like to call it - certainly not ‘common’, perish the thought!

People who dump rubbish spit out on pavements and don't scoop up their dogs poo.

Child abuse, either mental, physical or sexual.
Victimisation of the vulnerable.
Snobbery.
Being judgemental.
