reborn dolls

I saw a programme on telly once about women and their reborn dolls. I found it a bit disturbing really.

Could you explain please?

I agree with you Grossi I saw that programme. I know a lot people get them after they have lost a child. I don't think that you can replace the loss of a child or baby with a doll though. However, who am I to judge maybe it is their way of coping with the grief.

Having seen these things up close at a toy fair................I was totally weirded out (as the youngsters put it). That being said, if they are a comfort to folks them who am I to judge. They are a bit expensive however, and part of me thinks that the sellers are using that need to their benefit.
