I remember crocheting a bikini in the 60s . . . .
Probably not a good look now!

It's fantastic! I must finish my current project and have a go. I remember knitting a couple of dresses when I was at college - and had the nerve to wear them too!!!! I also remember making a cardigan / jacket in blackberry stitch and my son who was crawling at the time, pulled out the needles!!!!!

My daughter wants me to crochet my grandaughter a ponch! I made one for her when she was little and she loved it. Now I have to find a pattern. Looked at the website and there's one on there for a child's poncho. Printed and will have a look at it.

Thanks ninnynanny for the information smile

I missed this before, a friend just pointed it out to me, I have spent ages browsing the many patterns.
Of course I had to order some wool!! Just for 2 scarves for Xmas presies, will see what the wool is like.

Thanks Ninnynanny, Baggy the pattern is just there, keep scrolling down and it appears smile

Craftsy.com also have quite a few knitting and crochet free patterns. They are good for craft ideas too.
