The results are great, and it's much easier than wet felting - takes a lot less time as well. Keep at it and don't get discouraged (she says, laughing hollowly). The only advice I would give is MIND YOUR FINGERS!

Do you do the needle felting,wondering if you had any tips to pass on.like where do you get your needles, wool from. or even the needle felting its self.

I do needle felting and wet felting. Just decorated a canvas bag, which has been admired by many - even though I say it myself ! Only dangerous thing about it, be careful the needle doesn't get in your finger

I can supply the wool from Shetland sheep and fibre from alpacas...

I have seen a few very good examples of felting. I don't have the link now but the girl who was doing copies of people's dogs amongst other things is extremely talented and caught my interest as another craft I would like to try.

Haven't got round to it yet, but it's on my 'to do' list.

I don't do felting but my daughter has just had her first attempts at it. She has done some cute mushrooms and a red heart.

If you look on 'Pinterest' under felted items, you'll see some amazing things people have made.

Apparently you need to be careful at first as it can be hard on the fingers.

I did a dry felting workshop to make animals mostly dogs i did a lovely lurcher/irish wolfhound. It is so quick and cheap. Gone on to join a craft group and i make felted flowers made a cat, polar bear, dogs.

Hi all, I knit, do some sewing, simple dress making but this sounds interesting. I saw, in a local craft shop, some lovely felted veg, peas in pods. I shall have a search on the net and see what I'm missing.
Is there one good book that explains the art of felting you would recommend?
