What a good idea - get children to learn a different skill and make something they can be proud of. I think it's a reasonable price too, given that the materials are included.

That's really a good idea!I'll buy tools and make it by myself.

Just been on the website. They don't do it here yet but it's an expanding service so they probably will at some point. However they have put some 'how to do' stuff on the internet so if you have tools they can make things at home.

Brilliant idea.

What a brilliant idea. I will check if our local B and Q are doing it.

These workshops have only been run during the 6/7wk school holidays up to now but I am sure if there was interest your local B&Q would listen to a suggestion of running them for other times during the year, well worth asking don't you think ?

We've paid much more than that for art workshops! What a good idea.

I think it is a good idea to kill my free time.

Wonder if we could suggest it to them...do you think it would work....in a small town about 12 miles from where I am there is a small specialist shop called Craft this bead that and they have session where they do jewellery making and crafting and things in an upstairs room brilliant for their sales and for people wanting to learn...am going to ring and book E in for some sessions....

During the school holidays our local B&Q are doing workshops for youngsters from 4pm-7pm they will have the choice of making a bird box,cd holder, placemat holder and coasters etc,all material supplied and shown what to do for the price of £5.00 each, how good is this and what a good idea,I know people will say it is expensive if you have more than a couple of little ones but I think the store has got the right idea,I am not sure if it is available in all stores but its worth checking out.
