Does anyone know where I could buy an easy knitting pattern for my second grandson from the Internet.
My MIL wants what I can only describe as a tank top for our grandson who arrives in April, a pull on top without sleeves.
I've looked locally but can't find anything other than a cable stitch with a buttoned front which I wouldn't be able to do.
I did plenty of knitting years ago for my children and 18 months ago did some knitting for my first grandson but have completely forgotten how to do cable stitch so something easy is what I'm looking for.

Try the Deramores website, they're brilliant!

Try Garnstudio. Com . I use them almost exclusively for knitting patterns and they are free. Their search button is very good.

There are a few patterns on ebay as well - just had a look. My DIL likes home knits as well but I don't knit anymore, only crochet. I found someone to make jumpers for DGS but she's now charging £20 per jumper. Maybe I should get needles out and try again!

I knitted one for my DGS, just right over a shirt when it is a bit cooler. It was an old pattern I had, and it was plain, no cable.
They are quite fashionable again I think, M&S had them in men't sizes.

I knitted the one for DGS in Sirdar Snuggly Crofter which came out nicely.

ebay should have some, but Ravelry or Lion Brand have free patterns.
