Does anyone have a pattern for a straightforward crocheted hat. Just an ordinary pull on adult size. I can't wear wool on my head because of excema so I will crochet it in cotton.

I notice now that although it days "knitting and crochet" most of the patterns seem to be knitted. But if you follow the link to Ravelry from her page, you are bound to find one on there.

Good luck!

There is an American lady called Hopeful Honey who puts on free patterns. I have noticed a hat recently but she also provides patterns for novelty baby bootees such as ducks, frogs etc. You do have to 'translate' the American terms to English but there are conversion charts easily available.
Sorry, I am unable to post a link on this gadget but she should be easy to find.

Try ravelry, they have loads of patterns and a lot of them are free.
