Where can I get a crochet pattern for a dress for a 4-5 year old. I have scoured the internet with no luck. The dresses all seem to be for babies or toddlers.

I just don't think 4-5 year olds wear crocheted or knitted dresses these days. Are you sure she wants one, and would wear it? It would be a shame to go to all that trouble for it to be unworn.

Hi, have you looked on Ravelry or Pinterest?

I'm pretty sure it would be worn. I'm thinking sun dress really. Yes looked on Pinterest but maybe not Ravelry I'll take a look thanks.

Have a look on YouTube. I put in "girls crochet dresses", there are loads. Lots for babies but there are also plenty for older girls. I'll have a look through my old pattern books and see if I have anything. I'll let you know shortly.

Try DROPS.com or DROPS.uk they have lots of patterns in crochet and knitting

Here's three from my books. They come from Crochet Today, now no longer published. The colour block dress is by Bobbi Anderson, the blue one is by Christina Mershon and the red one is by Linda Permanent, you can find them all on Ravelry. I saw this one while I was searching, it's pretty. I wish my DGD was still this little. She's 10 now and I'm making her a skull shawl for Halloween. Hope this was helpful.

Hi thanks everyone I did look on Ralvery but not really what I wanted. I have now seen one on youtube that I might try.

Have you tried 'The crochet crowd' they do video tutorials, patterns etc free!

Thanks Galen. I started knitting again a couple of years ago and want to go back to crochet. I made a crochet blanket with my mother, which I still have and remember us sitting joining our squares. Last night, I tried to follow a book I have, teaching the steps to start crochet but failed totally. I'll look at the crochet crowd.

Iam, there are lots of really good tutorials on YouTube, not just by the Crochet Crowd. I'm teaching my DGD to crochet and when she phones with a problem I always point her in the direction of YouTube. She's only ten, so my DD finds her any relevant tutorials.
That being said, I think I might be a little bit in love with Mikey.

Hi everyone! I am running a survey to collect information on fabric buying patterns for my final year university project. If you have a spare 2 minutes, please could you fill in our questionnaire! Many thanks smile nbsnu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eUM42gi54rvKzuR
