My favourite song seems to change on a regular basis. This is my favourite at the moment:

Zoom along to near the end (43:50). This is the most beautiful song in the world and the most brilliant orchestration. And as for Arleen Auger's wonderful voice - my all-time favourite - wonderful. So dsad that she died relatively young.

It is a song of unrequited love.

sad

Like Hildajenni mine change too. At one time it was Somewhere over the Rainbow sung by Eva Cassidy, soon
before she died:

Eva Cassidy had such a distinctive voice and style - so sad she died so young.

There are many pieces of music that I really like but returning from Devon recently we stopped in Salisbury and visited the cathedral. The choir was practising a piece which I later found on youtube - "Seek Him that Maketh the Seven Stars" by Jonathan Dove.

I'm not religious, but - particularly in the setting of the cathedral - I found it really moving.

I also love "The Water Sustains" me by Johnny Flynn and Laura Marling.

Thank you eloethan for indirectly reminding me of this lovely haunting version of “Under The Greenwood Tree” which Laura Marling wrote for the production of “As You Like It” which DD2 designed at Stratford a few years ago.

I like ‘Songbird’ too, but sung by Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie. I also like ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ by Joan Baez.

In 2016 I took a photograph every day (because it was the year I reached 60) and put them all into 2 large spiral bound albums. I fixed them in with double sided sticky tape. I've just opened the first of the albums and to my horror found that the photos have unstuck themselves. Please has anyone tips on what to use to restick them so that the photos don't buckle (pva glue will cause this, I think). I need something permanent because resticking 360 plus photos will take quite a while and I certainly don't want to have to do it again. TIA.
