Glue advice needed

In 2016 I took a photograph every day (because it was the year I reached 70) and put them all into 2 large spiral bound albums. I fixed them in with double sided sticky tape. I've just opened the first of the albums and to my horror found that the photos have unstuck themselves. Please has anyone tips on what to use to restick them so that the photos don't buckle (pva glue will cause this, I think). I need something permanent because resticking 360 plus photos will take quite a while and I certainly don't want to have to do it again. TIA.

Depends what the finish of the pages are as to which glue would do the job.

I’ve put photos in albums using Pritt stick on corners only. The albums are good quality with a sheet of thin paper between each page. I’ve used this method and albums since 1981 and they’re still fine. Occasionally a photo gets loose but most stay stuck without any buckling. A good rub with Pritt stick on each corner and maybe a bit in middle. Closing the album firmly helps.

You can get special adhesive for photos.
Here is an example:

What’s wrong with four photo corners that’s all I use
holds them in place perfectly without causing the photo any damage what so ever I have many albums as I like taking pics in my area to see how it changes over the years

Photo corners are very fiddly if you’ve a lot to stick.

Well I have used corners Farmore on hundreds and don’t find any problem any kind of glue on the back can damage the photo itself or wear off after time corners ar3 there for ever and don’t harm the photograph backs

Pritstick ( for almost anything!)

Yes I use photo corners too. They hold the photo exactly in place, don't spoil the photograph and you can swap your pictures around (provided they're the same size) any time you like. Cheap as chips for hundreds too.

You can buy special photo glue which is good as it can be rubbed off with your finger if you manage to get some on the page or picture. And you can position the picture before it holds. It's used for cardmaking/scrapbooking. Not expensive.

If you go for the pritt stick potion, then make sure you get pritt stick. I have a packet of 5 supermarket equivalent glue sticks and basically they do not stick!

My glue of choice for photos is Pinflair foto glue

Oh dear - I've just made two photo albums using double-sided sticky tape. They won't last long, then.

I wouldn't have done this myself - I prefer photo books. Everybody loves them, and you can do so much with them. But in this case, my DS1 had printed out loads of photos, some for me and some for his Nanna. I refused to hand a pack of loose photos to my mother and bought an album and stuck them in.

Oh woe is me!

This reminds me its something I must do. But keep putting it off.

I have an opposite problem my Mother stuck a lot of quite precious photos some pre WW11 into an album with brown packing tape.
If anyone has any ideas how to remove it and them without too much damage I would appreciate it.

Thanks GracesGran. This sounds like what I am looking for so I will order some. I had thought of photo corners but with 365 photos to stick in, they might be a bit fiddly!
