Using a small piece of cross stitch?

I have just bought a lovely kit depicting a teapot with a motto about friendship. I want to make it as a present for a dear friend but she is also a crafty lady who has a lot of her work already framed. It will be only 6" square when finished and I could use it as part of a small cushion but I have a vision of it being inlaid under glass into a small tray or teapot stand. Does anyone know where I could get something suitable from? Thanks for any help.

Hobbycraft used to do a teapot stand, about six inches square wood frame with glass inlay to put stitching under. I made one bout ten years ago! Perhaps a search engine online could find one if you don't have this shop locally.
Good luck

Thanks, that's just the sort of thing I was looking for. Couldn't find anything on line.

Hobbycraft is a great shop.
