you can get very small interchangeable tips and cables to make endless sizes of circular needles. These are expensive kits but fantastic and good for a present

I have a longer set and use it a lot

I just sew the prem baby hats that I knit up in the normal fashion but fold them so the seam is at the side of the head.

I have just discovered knitting with circular needles doesn't hurt my neck and shoulders. Need to invest in some new sizes should I buy a set with the interchangable cords or stick to rigid in assorted lengths and sizes. Please help

I’d recommend mattress stitch. There are lots of You Tube videos showing how to do this. Now you have made so many consider making them in the round because then there will be no seam at all to rub against little heads. It’s not difficult. .

My stash of premature baby hats is growing but I now need to sew them together.
I’ve looked online for instructions which is great, but wondering if you could give me any tips before I start please ?
Thank you
