Stash. Own up if you have any stash of any sort

Stash? I have a huge stash of wool if that’s what you meant.

I do, and loads left over bits of fabric in case I need them. I try very hard not to increase the stash and only add to it as and when I actually need it. DH is very patients, but storage is becoming limited...

Gallons of wool, material and watercolour painting stuff and I will add to it whenever I see something that I like. DH once offered to help me sort through it. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Craftyone Keep up the good work! X

Loads of yarn and paper.

I am owning up.

I have mountains of neatly folded and washed fabrics of all types

I have garage shelves full of carving woods

I have masses of beautiful specially blended fibre tops for spinning

I have a lot of pure wool yarns for knitting

The fabrics are nicely folded and I had a dress length and pattern only last week

The wood has not been carved for months, only a bit since moving. I have not added to it

The fibre tops are of the highest quality eg cashmere and silk blends. I got a lot of various blends and am glad because the company are not making these superlative mixes any more. I chose the colours and fibres in the blends. I have enough for my lifetime, all in sealed mothproof packaging and all stashed under a bed, neatly labelled. I am not adding to them

The yarns are all the best quality wool blends from the likes of kate davis and john arbon. All neatly packaged in ziplock bags with the pattern. I have many jumper and cardigan weights and 2 or 3 winter shawl weights. That does not stop me, I received another jumper weight yesterday as well as a kit for slipper socks. What a thrill when they arrive

Lots of yarn, about 4 supermarket bags full, or rather crammed! - but it’s not taking over the house yet!

A certain amount of fabric left over from making curtains/ cushion covers.
Recently I’ve used quite a bit of it to make 2 pairs of cushion covers for a dd, and a nice neat roll for my prize-winning jumble of knitting needles, many of which were inherited from my mother.

watch for moths if you are storing any wool or silk. The B***ers get into the smallest of spaces. Zip lock bags work

Lol I had 2 large fitted cupboards built into 2 bedrooms, both are full of mainly crafting stuff with just a small hanging space. No husband to think about thesedays, he would have approved anyway, anything to make me happy and it doesn`t half lift the spirits during covid gloom

Are these stashes or hoards?

Tins/ boxes of beads for re-stringing ---necklaces. Maybe if we have a long winter I'll get stuck in.
Probably stems from childhood when an aunt we used to visit brought out her bead box to keep me occupied. Remembering some of her beads, they were the size of small tomatoes.

It was the ambers I liked. If only I'd realised then that they were very much sought after now, along with those which I thought were pieces of coal ( jets ) I've often wondered what became of aunty's bead box----probably binned

Yes I have a stash of knitting yarn. I was a bit shocked when I had a big tidy up and retrieved it from various cupboards and realised just how much I have!
I make things for the local hospital for dementia patients (they are safety checked) so am working my way through the stash whilst on lockdown.

Fabric, fabric and more fabric! Though I have used some up making face masks recently.

2 Big Foot die cutters, 2 electronic Plotter Cutter Machines
Loads of embellishments for papercrafts.
Rolls and rolls of double sided tape, sticky dots and all kinds of glues.
2 Xyron Machines (the most useful things I ever bought)
Boxes of canvases and paints of all kinds.
More brushes, pens and pencils than our local art shop.
I have a dedicated craft room, loft, shed, summerhouse and boxes under the beds all stuffed full, and I'm trying to convince my DH that I need another (large) shed.

I loved rifling through stashes of beads and buttons, especially when helping at jumble sales. Just one big bead could be a design element these days. Sigh, all those things that slipped through our fingers Ellanvannin

I forgot my jewellery making supplies and tools including a small fortune in semi precious stones, beads and Swarovski crystals and precious metal clays.

Oh yes, craftyone, the buttons too shaped like flowers. No more to be seen. I used to thread those with the beads as a child---played for hours.

Crafting, and buying craft materials are two separate hobbies.

A whole roomful of knitting/crochet yarn and patterns.

I have a stash of toys kept from my own childhood (think Hornby clockwork train set etc.) and my own children's toys-two girls who looked after their things. It's an ever source of joy when I get it out for the grandchildren and has saved me a fortune in buying new stuff

My stash is based on fabric and paper mainly but has 'tentacles' all over...

*A (real) shed of vintage fabric, mainly curtains and table
coverings, mainly stashed to produce quilts
Anna Griffin card stock
*vintage wallpapers that I use to make stationery folders
*broken necklaces from car boot forays for earring making
*Five flower presses
* cook books, craft books (esp about ribbon embroidery, cross
stitching, small upholstery projects)

I wish I could sketch, paint with water colours, knit and crochet but I've tried and I'm rubbish

A couple of years ago I started card making and very quickly acquired 2 die cutting machines, dozens of dies, card and paper of every description, washi tape, various pens, glues, glitter and other products that I saw on the Create and Craft TV channel. I made hundreds of cards and still have a lot for future use, but have lost interest. I wouldn't get rid of my stuff, but it has taken over my spare bedroom and part of mine. I would never be able to have a guest to sleep.
