Style Arc patterns, they fit like RTW, avoid any of the Big 4.

There is a group on Facebook called The Pattern Exchange Group which might be the answer. There are literally hundreds of patterns for sale or swap on there.

I've used favourite skirts and dresses as templates for patterns. I just trace around them onto thin lining (wall)paper, add the darts and seam allowances - then cut out. It's good to know that they'll fit perfectly.

Have you tried drafting your own pattern? Lots of tutorials on Pinterest and YouTube.

I am searching for a simple shift dress pattern for a woven fabric, not knit. Ideally it would be straight up and down, probably with bust darts but no others, lowish (but not too low) round or vee neck, sleeveless or long shoulders, not fitted in sleeves, no zip, don't mind a button and loop style fastening. I have hunted high and low but cannot find what I want. If you have a favourite and could give me the make and pattern number I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.
