My snowmen are too fat!

We come in all sizes and shapes Witz even snowmen ⛄️

Are they the naughty ones who ate all the mince pies? ? ?

? Joseanne - I haven’t made any yet, but if I had, dh would have scoffed the lot before they got a look in!

Surely you can arrange them so it looks 'on purpose'? (Two fat ones at the bottom, where they've sunk, or something?)

But snowmen are fat. It's your thin ones that are wrong

It’s for the school fair raffle stall, so I do want it looking right. I did try the two porkers with the others, but sadly they did spoil the effect.
They do all look very jolly anyway, Nannagarra - and they’re pleasantly plump - certainly not skinny!

I'm forever making a last minute mistake.
Or, deciding last minute that something I thought looked great (rose tinted glasses?) Now looks wrong.
I end up with quite a few nearly finished projects clogging up my stash.
So well done for having the patience to persevere

Here’s one of the pie-eaters with one of his slimmer brethren. I know they don’t look that much different, but with 5 of them on an 11 inch diameter wreath - I’ve made exactly the same before - it does look ‘off’. Much as I wish it didn’t!

They are lovely but I can see what you mean. A little unbalanced. If they don’t take long , could you make two more and still use the tubby ones as tree ornaments ?

I'd unpick and remove some of their stuffing with tweezers.

To me they look absolutely fine, just leave them as they are… Beautiful little snowmen ????

Could you arrange your lovely snowmen so that the fatter ones are on each side with the slimmer ones on top and below, or alternate them so that they balance each other out? They look perfectly fine to me.

Witzend make some fat snowballs and place them at the foot of the snowmen, they won't seem so fat then.

I am not envious of beautiful women or slim women but I am envious of talented women like you Witzend -

Could you make another wreath with 5 fat snowmen on it. Or even three if time is short.

You have the patience of a saint! My daughter gave me a kit to make a nativity scene…..I’ve just had a tantrum over it and rammed it back in the bag.
