Well, two hols abroad to see kids when I rarely get a holiday even in this country has been a highlight certainly. Both pretty much paid for by kids too which is wonderful.
Seeing mum more settled in her elderly mentally infirm unit and being able to get support from staff is great. To see her answering all the questions the social worker asked her about memory, it was one of her good days when she was so sharp she was answering almost before the words were out of the girls mouth! Hilarious. Those B12 injections have worked wonders so now have to push for them every ten weeks instead of the twelve weeks expected. Pity her poor skinny bum tho when those needles go in. Ouch!
Settled down with dad in his home too which was really hard at first to be treated like a teenager again but we have reached compromises and not too bad most of the time but long to be on my own again really. However chin up! As I did volunteer to do this.
Been a hard, tiring year but wonderful highlights too so here's to next twelve months! Cheers
