in 3 weeks I will(God willing) become a grandmother to triplets. Anyone out there got that particular Tshirt and able to give me some top tips?

Fantastic, mumsy47. I know of a few sets of triplets. Both my daughters have twins (they, too, are twins). We joined TAMBA (Twins And Multiple Births Association). Worth joining for information, support, collaboration and plenty of discount vouchers when you need to buy several pairs of Clarks shoes or nursery equipment. A very exciting time ahead! smile

By the way, companies like travel system or nursery equipment manufacturers and retailers are interested in the reviews of the products when used by twins and triplets. A couple of the mums I know have been supplied with equipment to try, and keep, in return for reviews. Worth enquiring about.

Oh I have former work colleague expecting triplets at the end of this month and we had a set of triplets at the school where I worked & mum asked for them to be in different classes..she chose us as we had 3 different classes to put them in!.

Sounds like you are in for lots of fun and some hard work too! Enjoy flowers

There was a set of triplets when I was at school, all girls.

When I was working as a nurse I looked after an old lady who was one of three triplet sisters, all of whom were still alive and in their eighties. They were all widowed and lived together in the same house.Apparently they were supposed to be, at the time, the oldest set of surviving triplets in the country and were regarded as local celebrities.

Wow mumsy That is going to be such an occassion! Good luck to you all. I hope you will keep us informed. flowers

harrigran Sun 24-Feb-13 11:38:14

glamma I was buying baby clothes yesterday. I have a doll that GDs play with and tiny baby clothes fit perfectly. The clothes are so much nicer than ones designed for dolls.
Good luck to her and the stall, so worthwhile.

As a Mum of twins who more than once thanked goodness there were only two, I would say to your daughter that if anyone vaguely offers help, say how kind and give them a job. I found that what drove me mad was knowing that there was a wash load in the machine needing put out or that the bath really did need cleaning more than coping with the children.

MaggieP Sun 24-Feb-13 14:43:56

Hi mumsy47, are they boys by any chance ?

merlotgran Sun 24-Feb-13 15:18:27

When I had our youngest the woman in the bed next to me was about to have triplets. DH brought our two children in to see their new baby sister but they were more interested in the size of the tum in the next bed. They were invited to feel the babies kicking and there was much discussion about more than one baby being born. On their way out, DS, who was three, stopped in his tracks in front of a woman who was lying with her knees up so she could balance a magazine. I'll never forget him shouting, 'Mum, however many has she got in there?' grin

mumsy47 Sat 09-Mar-13 22:41:12

grin Just to let you know that my three grandchildren have been safely delivered tonight. Mum, 2daughters and son are all well. Son in law is also ok.
